Head of Project:

ST-131, MEJT - Screening Belt for Your Mobile Phone PDF Print E-mail

Company: Mejt
Contact: Susanne Ritterdal Söderblom

Description:
The modern woman on the go often wears fashion with limited storage ability for her mobile phone. Fashion accessory brand Mejt is now marketing a new kind of product. It is a belt that, apart from solving the problem of storing a mobile phone, contains a material that screens electromagnetic radiation. With a clean design and carefully chosen materials, the Mejt belt is the diametrical opposite of conventional mobile storage. The Mejt belt is first fashion, then function, as opposed to competing products that focus on function but often forget design. Mejt has a young, trendy and feminine feeling. A crushingly simple idea but simultaneously a revolution for the woman on the go. The association with Sweden and Dalarna gives a sense of national romanticism and everyday magic.
