Our consumption and production cannot effect the environment!

Textile and other closely related industries today have an important challenge when it comes to R&D and production on an environmentally friendly and social responsible way. The textile industry has long suffered a bad reputation, but there is now a change of paradigm. More and more actors put sustainability on their agenda.

Within Smart Textiles we priority the environment and work active to integrate this in all parts of our activity. For us, durability, life time, quality and function are also important concepts for sustainable development.

Smart Textile is smart for our environment

All projects within the frame of Smart Textiles seek to form a method to predict future influence on the environment by a planned activity or product. In addition to this, we inform about and work with sustainability as a foundation value in all projects within Smart Textiles

For assistance with environment expertise, there is the Centre for Environmental-driven business development (CMF), TEKO, Waste Refinery, to name a few.

In cooperation with CMF, we also offer companies competence development within 'Environment and Textile' through seminars and breakfast meetings, as well as through sharing knowledge of tips and good examples for a better durable business development.
