Smart Textiles Prototype Factory supports the realization of an idea and is a natural center for development through prototyping. Prototype Factory offers access to full-scale laboratories:

with competence, creativity and network in a open innovative enviroment. Further, it can provide comapanies with a global network of contacts and competences to empower a certain project or business.

Prototype Factory also acts as the link and connective unit between Experimental research and Company Driven Projects. It is a resource to further develop on going research projects in order to create conditions for commercializations. The objective of Prototype Factory is developing good ideas, both from researchers and from the industry to move beyond a conceptual stage from good to excellent.

The Textile Matrial Library (TML)

TML is an information centre where you find all sorts of innovative textile materials and product samples. It constitutes a natural resource and sounding board for product development-related challanges in the creation process from idea to finished textile applications and products. TML provides an interface and a market-window between the academy, research and industry where many highly skilled professionals can share thoughts, ideas and problems to be solved. TML is an independent forum and a part of the Smart Textiles Prototype Factory.
