We see Smart Textiles as a leading centre for research, development and production of smart textiles and portable textile technology where advanced textile technology, sensor technology, computer technology and different types of advanced material technology meet and integrate.

Triple Helix

In the work to build and work with innovations systems, the concept 'Triple Helix' often comes up.

Triple Helix is the name of a model to describe interplay between the academy, researchers, industry and politics/public sector. The interplay is required to accomplish mutual learning and to benefit the gathered competence than can be found in the region. By developing a joint vision and coordinating the developing resources that are committed within a region, the purpose is to gain innovation capability and higher profit on the efforts that effects the growth in the country.
