Important dates:

  • - Submission – January 22, 2008
  • - Notification – March 15, 2008
  • - Camera-ready – May 1, 2008

Submission Format: 2 page extended abstract.

Camera-ready Format: 8 pages full paper or 4 pages short paper.

Presentation at conference: Poster presentation or 20 minutes talk (15 minutes talk with 5 minutes questions) in parallel sessions.

Main topics of the conference are:

  • - Smart Clothing,
  • - Smart Textiles Design,
  • - Technical Textiles,
  • - Automotive Textiles,
  • - Medical Textiles,
  • - Sensors & Fibers.

We welcome submissions that focus on these topics from the perspective of technology as well as from the perspective of design.

Each submitted abstract will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Program Committee and authors will be notified of acceptance for oral presentation of full paper or poster presentation of short paper or rejection by March 15.

Authors of accepted Abstracts will receive instructions for camera-ready version of final papers and how to prepare for oral presentation or poster presentation. A camera-ready version of the final paper must be submitted by May 1 at latest.

By submitting a paper, the author(s) agree that, if the paper is accepted they

  • - Submit a final, revised, camera-ready version by May 1,
  • - Register at least one author to attend the conference and to present the accepted paper.

Submission must be original work and please note that submissions will not be published without a signed form releasing publishing copyright to the publisher CTF, The Swedish School of Textiles, University College of Borås.

Accepted Papers will be printed in the Ambience’08 Conference Proceedings, which also will be available on the conference website.
